Compression Fittings

ADVANTAGES : Do not require flaring, soldering or other preparation to assemble. Manufactured from CA 360, CA 345 or CA 377 brass.

APPLICATIONS : Use with copper, brass, aluminum or plastic tubing that can be flared. Primary uses : water, gasoline, oil and vaccum lines.

TEMPERATURE RANGE : -65° F to + 250° F at maximum operating pressures.

VIBRATION : Standard fitting use short nuts when vibration is minimal. The long nuts are available for higher vibration applications.

ORDER : By SUREFIT Part No. & Name.

To Assemble :
1. Cut smooth, square end on tubing.
2. Slide nut, then sleeve onto tube. Threads must facing end.
3. Insert tube into fitting.
4. Threads nut onto fitting until snug, then as follows : Up to 1/4” 1 1/4 turns 5/16” 1 3/4 turns 3/8” & up 2 1/4 turns.
