Flare Fittings

ADVANTAGES : SUREFIT fitting resists mechanical pullout. Designed to be assembled and disassembled repeatedly. Manufactured from CA 360, CA 345 or CA 377 brass.

APPLICATIONS : Use with copper, brass, aluminum and welded steel tubing that can be flared. Primary uses : fuel equipment, plumbing, gases, refrigeration and vacuum lines.

TEMPERATURE RANGE : -65° F to + 250° F at maximum operating pressures.

VIBRATION : Standard fitting use short nuts when vibration is minimal. The long nuts are available for higher vibration applications.

ORDER : By SUREFIT Part No. & Name.

To Assemble:

1. Cut smooth, square end on tubing.
2. Slide nut onto tube - threads facing end.
3. Flare end of tube.
4. Threads nut to body until snug, then 1/6th turn.
